So just picked up this 91 ranger project truck. this is it after first wash shortly after i picked er up
The plans so far are:
- Well first off need to get that pos auto tranny swapped out for the 5spd
- 95-02 Explorer 8.8 rear end (for the larger axles and disc brakes) with locker
- Dana 44 knuckle swap onto the dana 35 ttb's. (will give me half-ton hubs and stronger axles than a stock dana 44 would have)

- 1 piece drive-shaft from any '98 and up ranger ext cab.
- '97 4.0L engine swap with the sohc pistons for a 10:1 cr, and all the other goodies like headers n such
- Sliders
I'd like to find a manual shift transfer case too, and sell the electronic engage unit. I'd like to put a locker in the front too.
